Go to http://www.newegg.com and search for "usb ethernet" "usb wireless adapter" M M M The Motorola Surfboard cable modem has a USB port on the back of it which will work on older laptops (Win '98, Win 2000). I would guess that other types of modems would work if there is a USB port on it. Check your modem. For older Windows Operating Systems you will need to install the driver for the modem.
