Near the top of your internet explorer bar, there is a House icon. To the direct right of that is a drop down arror ( arror pointing down) Simply click this then left click "Remove" Then it will show you two weppages ( these should be the pages that show up when you click internet explorer ) Remove one of them. After that, close internet. Then re-open. This time there will be only one.

go to tools, internet options on the general tab delete one of the url address and click ok.

IE7 supports opening multiple home pages. You might have more than one setup.

In the menu bar click 'Tools' then 'Internet Options'.
(If you don't have a menu bar, right mouse click in the blank area next to the tabs and put a check on 'Menu Bar' or rightmouse click your Internet Explorer icon on the desktop and choose properties)

In the 'General' section you will see the box for home page. Delete all the website address in this box except the site you want. If you see 'about:blank' delete those, too. That opens up a blank tab.
