I can connect to my wireless network but I can't connect to the internet?
I have a gt704wg verizon router, one PC desktop directly connect to the router, and one Mac laptop that connects to the router wirelessly. The PC can connect to the router and internet just fine, the Mac however can connect to the network but not to the internet. This just happened yesterday to. Before, we had no problems. The only thing that happened is that the router got unplugged, the next thing I know, the network starts to ask for a password. My mom somehow knows the password, she set it sometime ago but I guess it hasn't worked until the router was unplugged. So the Mac connects to the network fine, but it can't connect to the internet!!! What's wrong? What do I need to do to get it to work again?

The most likely problem is that you have a DSL provider that requires a PPPOE authentification. This was programmed into the router and did the login for you. Now that the router has reset it is not giving your provider the PPPoE login that it requires for internet connection. The router will have to be reconfigured to do the PPPoE login for you or you will have to provide the username and password from your computer any time you want to conncet to the internet.
