the best way will be to stop your internet. Otherwise there are many ways to block sites from your explorer. make different users on your windows for each kid and then check what each of them has viewed.

The easiest way would be to tell them to go outside and play like kids are supposed to.
...
Net Nanny would probably be your best bet. http://www.netnanny.com/
You can also set most search engines to filter adult content, but kids are usually smart enough to get around that.

either go back to using internet explorer so you can use the content filtering or purchase a router - something like a Draytek 2800 which has content protection built in which you can modify - i prefer the router route as no matter whats running on the computer it gets blocked a step before the computer itself

there are a number of net nannys available, or you could create a limited user account for the kids and activate parental controls in the browser.

Firefox does not have parental control, I suggest using another browser, or try an extension such as Glubble - google it.
Put SafeSearch on at Google.com also, to prevent adult content coming up. I suggest supervising or limiting their time on the web and if adult content is viewed on the computer to make sure you clear the history.

The best way to be 100 percent sure is to sit over them when they surf that way you have full control over what material is suitable content for them. A few years back a workmate told me he let his kids surf unsupervised because he had Norton parent control and a few other programs installed, he thought he was safe. Oh really! i told him to image search on Google Britney spears, lets just say after he seen some of the fakes he decided it safer to sit with the kids as they surfed.

If your kids was showing signs that they wasn't interested in sex at all, you would think there was something wrong with them

You don't say how old they are - but the safest way is to only allow supervised access !
First - Never put the PC in a young child's bedroom - this gives them the chance to surf unobserved. Set it up in a room that has plenty of through traffic - so that they're always going to risk being overlooked by someone passing by.
Second - password protect your computer - this only allows them access if you yourself set up the PC for them.
Third - there are lots of software programs out there to limit web access. Net Nanny for example - your local computer retailer will give you lots of advice on this.
Good luck - and happy surfing.

The advice to use Glubble is a good one
