	How to scan directly in to a PDF file? Using the generic Windows Scanner for 7. Have Adobe Reader 10 installed. But it doesn't give me an option to scan directly to a PDF file. Reader won't accept any scan I try to import in jpeg, gif, or tiff file. Any help? Thanks. 3 answer(s)
	Best Answer: I use pdfcreator : http://www.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator . This program will be installed in your computer as printer. Whenever you want to create any document or picture to pdf, you can just use the print option and select Pdfcreator as the printer. It's free and easy to use. View more answers to this question.

Martin In Acrobat, do one of the following: 1.Choose File > Create PDF > From Scanner. 2.Choose Document > Scan To PDF. 3.Choose From Scanner from the Create PDF menu on the toolbar. In the Acrobat Scan dialog box, select basic scanning options. Philip Fransis If you have windows installed on your system you can use Adobe Acrobat. Else if you're running Linux there are many PDF creation open software's available.
