	why is the tick (check) box locked (excel)? I have unlocked the cell it is in, I have unlocked the tick box itself but when I click protect sheet and then try click on it to tick (Check) it, it says it is locked, can't understand it. Is this a fault with excel? Or is it me? I have resolved this myself, the cells which the box was linked to were locked. thank you for your answer.
