i didnt know that i could go on my laptop WITHOUT the battery inside?
i took the battery out of my laptop, and now its running on the charger!! i didnt know it could do this!! can i do this all the time and only use my battery when i need to or is this harmful to the laptop?

This won't hurt your laptop but it will not charge your battery if your battery is not in. Also batteries discharge slowly over time even when not being used.
Another thing, you should remove/install the battery while the computer is on or plugged in. This can cause a short that can, and will, damage your system.

You can do this all the time if you choose to, the laptop will run directly of the power supplied by the charger without harming your laptop

It works. Its not harmful to laptop unles there is power failure
when u r using laptop, and if there arise any power failure, u will loss all ur valuable files and works. this is also harmful to lap
